Lawrence Rogers, P.E. - President
Mr. Rogers has over eighteen years of experience in the design, engineering, and permitting of solid and hazardous waste management facilities. He has successfully prepared several permit applications and designs for solid and hazardous waste facilities particularly in the State of New York. As a client advocate, Mr. Rogers has: provided regulatory interfacing on permitting and consent order negotiations; obtained variance that provide clients with significant project savings; and provided expert testimony at adjudicatory hearings in support of various development projects.

Mr. Rogers' expertise encompass closure and post closure plans, beneficial/end use land planning, landscape planning, pollution prevention plans, stormwater management, soil erosion and sediment control, spill prevention, countermeasure and control plans, environmental impact statements, wetland and endangered species assessment and mitigation, and site/hydrogeologic investigation and remediation for industrial sites.

David Ohman, P.E. - Vice President
Mr. Ohman has over fifteen years of experience in sanitary and environmental engineering with emphasis in water and wastewater treatment processes, facilities planning, design, and construction administration.

Mr. Ohman is responsible for field investigations (e.g., sanitary sewer flow monitoring, manhole inspections, etc.) preparation of scoping documents and paperwork, and consent order compliance. He works with our clients to manage their projects, comprehensively evaluating designs and operation and maintenance plans.

John Brust - Principal
Mr. Brust's broad project management experience includes numerous civil and environmental engineering projects. He has served as the overall Project Director for numerous large water and wastewater improvement projects as well as industrial assessments and decommissioning projects related to the acquisition and divestiture of properties throughout the United States. He often assists our clients in negotiations with regulatory agencies and other involved parties.

Mr. Brust, as Principal of the firm, is responsible for overall client communication and financial management. He assists our clients in negotiations with involved regulatory agencies and represents Delaware Engineering, with other staff, at various public forums. Securing necessary easements and various permits are also Mr. Brust's responsibility. He works with community leaders to minimize disruption and ensure that projects are completed on schedule.

James Suozzo, P.E. - Lead Engineer, Principal of Delaware Operations
Mr. Suozzo has over twenty-three years of varied, in-depth water and wastewater facilities engineering experience, including investigations, planning, design, operations consulting, facilities operations, and instruction in operations and regulatory environmental protection. Prior to forming Delaware Engineering, Mr. Suozzo held various professional positions working as an assistant chief operator for the City of Cortland and instructor for the State University of New York in Morrisville.

Mr. Suozzo is the President of Delaware Operations, as a Professional Engineer and a Licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Acting as Lead design engineer for many of Delaware's projects, he is responsible for the preparation of plans, specifications, and engineer estimates. Mr. Suozzo also provides structural, geotechnical, process, project management, and detailed designs for our clients.

Kathleen Suozzo, P.E. - Lead Engineer
Ms. Suozzo has over twenty years of engineering expertise in environmental and civil disciplines with an emphasis in water and wastewater treatment processes, their associated physical facilities, and regulatory compliance. Prior to forming Delaware Engineering, Ms. Suozzo provided professional services for various agencies throughout New York State, including: the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Hoffman Air and Filtration, and the Mexico Academy and Central School in Mexico, NY.

Ms. Suozzo oversees many of our projects, and is responsible for process and structural designs. She also coordinates with regulatory agencies, while overseeing the activities of Delaware's plant operators.
