New York State Office of General Services, Maintenance Building, Eastern Correctional Facility: Napanoch, New York.
Responding to an emergency need for a new maintenance building at Eastern Correctional Facility, Delaware Engineering provided and managed the conceptual design and construction phase services to OGS-DOCS for a 6,000 square foot single story building. The new building provides facilities for numerous materials and utility repair shops. The new building, constructed within the walls of a maximum-security prison, required many special security features.

DASNY, WWTP Upgrade and Sewer line Replacement/Repairs, OMRDD Taconic DDSO: Camp Harriman, Jewett, NY
Located within New York City's Watershed, the wastewater treatment plant at Camp Harriman is subject to upgrade under the Watershed Rules and Regulations. Delaware Engineering is responsible for the plant upgrade and the design and implementation of a correction action program to reduce inflow and infiltration. The corrective action plan was completed in the spring 2001. The subsurface discharge alternative to the upgrade of the treatment plant has recently been approved by the DEP, resulting in significant cost savings in the project budget.

NYSDOT, Water Improvement Project and Full Reconstruction/Reverse Betterment: Village of Hunter, NY
Originally, both the DWSRF Water Improvement Project and the NIP POTW project included scoping and funds for limited restoration of NYS Route 23A after the installation of new sewer lines and the replacement of the existing water lines. Since Delaware Engineering was already designing and coordinating the water and sewer projects, the Village proposed that we design the full depth reconstruction and streetscape improvements. A copy of the Village's resolution to hire Delaware Engineering and the professional services agreement were provided to DOT, and the project has been completed.
